Resiliencia y Satisfacción con la vida en adolescentes del ciclo básico, en la Ciudad de Guatemala

En las últimas décadas se ha dado un creciente interés en investigar factores de la psicología positiva como resiliencia y satisfacción con la vida, particularmente en adolescentes dentro del contexto educativo dando como resultado la necesidad de la creación de programas psicoeducativos a través de un modelo teórico estadístico. La literatura reporta que la resiliencia en las instituciones educativas se relaciona con la satisfacción con la vida. Por ello se hace importante determinar la asociación de la resiliencia y satisfacción con la vida, desde un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, de corte transversal y alcance predictivo. Se analizaron los datos obtenidos de 94 estudiantes. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la escala de Resiliencia CDRisk (α = .884), el cuestionario ¿Cómo es tu familia? Utilizando únicamente la subescala de Satisfacción con la Vida (α = .816); y un cuestionario sociodemográfico. Los resultados indican que el ajustado sugiere que la influencia de la satisfacción con la vida sobre resiliencia es de 14.9% (p = 0.001), reflejando que a un alto nivel Satisfacción con la Vida los estudiantes tienen un mejor nivel de Resiliencia.
